Blonde Heiress, Paris Hilton, posing for the environment

What has Paris Hilton naked in the desert got to do with champagne? At Blondeheiress we are not entirely sure. Perhaps she thinks her new ad campaign promoting a new line of champagne-in-a-can from German company Rich Prosecco is "Hot". In addition to having her name associated with the canned bubbly, Paris also took things a step further and decide to participate in an ad campaign for the drink. She is nude, covered in gold spray paint, and sitting in the desert. The company web site Rich Prosecco states that 20% of sales of the bubbly range of alcohol will go to organizations helping people develop clean sources of drinking water. Rich Prosecco, is positioned as a starter drink for the evening and naturally comes in a can.

So you see, Paris being painted in gold completely nude, was a contribution and effort towards a good cause. The blonde heiress also put in a good word for the environment.
"I changed all the light bulbs to energy safe light bulbs and I'm buying a hybrid car right now," Hilton said, adding that she also turned off the lights at home, didn't leave the TV on or the water running when she left the home. "Little things that people can do every day to make a huge difference."

The socialite already has her own perfume, jewelry designs, shoe and bag line and a pop album.

Beautiful Kiera Knightley For Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle

Dressed in nothing but a man’s white shirt, diamond bracelet and bowler hat, Kiera Knightley steals into a Paris apartment via the window. September 13, 2007 is the official release of the story of Coco Mademoiselle, the Parisian sophisticate. Kiera Knightley, a British actress won the contract to be the face of the popular scent brand, after it was announced that Kate Moss, who had played Coco Mademoiselle since the fragrance's launch in 2001 , would not be renewing her contract. Knightley was a natural choice as, "she has a vein of irreverence that is similar to Mademoiselle Chanel herself" stated a spokes person for Chanel. The television ad featuring Knightley is directed by Joe Knight, who also directs the actress in her latest film, Atonement. Who would not want to buy Coco Mademoiselle perfume after watching Knightley skipping around the shadows and musées of the Paris, ‘the city of love,” dripping in diamonds and captivating every man who lays eyes on her.

You can watch footage of some of the outdoor advertising, on Chanel's new website, mademoiselle-forever. Rich Bitch Trouble The Latest Hot Heiress

She has already been the star of a national advertising campaign and the subject of at least one messy lawsuit. She has spent most of her 8 years, in pampered luxury, in a penthouse apartment at the top of the Park Lane Hotel in New Yorks Central Park. Her meals are prepared by a hotel chef and a housekeeper serves them, vegetables with grilled chicken. Trouble is her name and she is the "Rich Bitch" heiress of the moment. The richest, most talked about heiress, is the dog of Mrs. Helmsley, the hotel magnate who died last month at age 87. Trouble, or princess as she was called was left $12 million in Mrs. Helmsley will. Loved by "the Queen of Mean", Leona Helmsley was not as generous to her chauffeur, who was awarded $100,000, or to two of her grandchildren, who received nothing, the 14-page will states, “for reasons which are known to them.”

Trouble is going to need friends and compassion now. Blondeheiress suggest she step out with gorgeus Italian Bolognese "Luigi" who is a Prince in his own right and will not be going after Trouble’s inheritance. “That is the next step,” a social life. “The heiress has celebrity power, money and a place on Park Avenue. She is the rich bitch heiress of the moment!

Brook Astor "Lady of Grace" Philanthropist Dies

The death of philanthropist Brooke Astor at the age of 105 has hit me profoundly. She was a women of class and her path was not always "easy" and she suffered many disappointments. As a role model to all women, nonetheless, she found her great satisfaction in personal restraint, public service, conversation, and nature. She lost many friends and family along her life's journey. Mrs. Astor living to 105 left the real life lesson to "girl everywhere" that yes, do everything you can to make your surfaces shine, but nothing enhances outer allure like the inner acceptance and appreciation of life on life's terms. Her approach to philanthropy in New York had an almost revolutionary effect on the way things were approached and done.

Mrs. Astor was all grace in action. She gave away nearly $200 million. Her life's motto summed up her generosity: "Money is like manure, it should be spread around."

Her funeral will be held on Friday. August 17, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Church on Fifth Avenue. For the first time in 150 years, New York does not have a "Mrs. Astor" as its social mentor. We shall all miss her, she had her own way she had a deep impact on society.

Fashion And Luxury Turn To Online Video

Enhancement in online video and the growing prevalence of broadband access are encouraging luxury brands to create glossy new Web sites that better reflect their elite appeal on a medium that can make things look equal. Find shoes from Marc Jacobs online and they sell for $499 and then find some shoes from Target, they are $14.99. They look almost the same online. Now with the help of interactive features the luxury product imagery can be very beautiful. Every component, every detail can be carefully crafted on the Web, exactly as their products are.
A 2007 survey by market research firm Luxury Institute found that 99% of those 21 years and older with a minimum household income of $150,000 had Internet access at home and 94% said they used broadband connections, which are amenable for video viewing. Similarly high numbers were reported for the use of the Internet in researching shopping and products. As you would expect, as high-end consumers have gone on the Web, more luxury brands and high-end retailers have opened up online flagships.

Sophisticated imagery can help high-end brands validate the price discrepancy with lower-end products. The luxe site has to do a better job of romancing it, using additional audio as well as visual inspiration to really get you excited. They have to make consumers feel that they can connect and relate to this site, otherwise why would they spending so much money? Not relying on retailers or on traditional advertising, and adding streaming video is a type of "three-dimensional branding" that adds life to the product and its message in a way not possible with "flat" advertising in magazines.
Many luxe sites also aim to give visitors a sense that they are getting insider information. Those not invited to Fashion Week's members-only tents can watch the runway shows online.
Christian Dior's Fall/Winter Haute Couture extravaganza, in honor of the fashion house's 60th anniversary, was available online the morning after the show. High fashion sites are also adding behind-the-scenes viewing to differentiate themselves. Chanel.com features interviews with Karl Lagerfeld, while MiuMiu.com has footage of its May 2007 photo shoot with model Laetitia Casta for its Fall/Winter 2007 campaign. Documentary filmmaker Seraphin Ducellier directed Balenciaga.com's suggestive time-lapsed movies of four handbags; the brand also plays up its fashion heritage by featuring archival footage from the 1960 Spring/Summer runway show. The reaction people have is this real emotional connection with video, much more than still images. A woman looking at the video feels, “I need that bag.'"

Prada.com's site, showcases nearly 20 short films on the production process, including clips of the making of a Prada ballerina slipper, artists sketching bags, and the hand-finishing of a perfume bottle. Showing the hands behind the luxury object only burnishes a brand's image, says CEO of the Luxury Institute, Milton Pedraza. "Luxury consumers want to know that they are paying for craftsmanship," Mr. Pedraza says. "And it's a little more subtle but it's also important, they want to know that people who are making the product are treated well.”

MarcJacobs.com features elaborate Fashion Week mini-documentaries used cameras which swooped 30 feet over the audience and 24-hour time-lapse footage of set-building. The site also posts insider news and gossip uploaded by employees. The new features also keep viewers on the site longer. However even Mr. Jacobs, the online trendsetter in the industry, must continue to add new features to his site to maintain an edge. According to industry sources, one prominent designer is planning on streaming live video -- a first -- during New York Fashion Week this September. “Bring it on” says Publisher Barbara Segal of www.Blondeheiress.com this is what all us fashionista have been waiting for,” says the Blondeheiress!

The New Hot Blonde Heiress

Sir Richard Branson's daughter, Holy Branson, 25, has caught the fancy of Prince Williams who split from his girlfriend of four years Kate Middleton earlier this month. Holly Branson is described as fun-loving and is studying medicine. Her brother Sam, 21, and her are both part of the young Royals' set.

Thanks to her charm, wealth (Branson is worth £3billion, dwarfing the Queen's £320 million) and lifestyle, the blonde heiress Holly Branson has achieved the sort of social kudos that has always eluded her father. She recently spent the night in the West End nightclub Mahiki with the newly single Prince.

Dressed in a tiny white skirt and with her naturally curly hair blown straight, she had several dances with him during a jolly night fuelled by champagne and peach cocktails. They flirted, poking their tongues out at each other and where hot on fire, but left separately at around 3am. Should we take bets that this blonde heiress will become Princess William's next girlfriend? At Blondeheiress.com we bet Yes on this HOT blonde heiress.

Lilly Allen Launches Fashion Line Online

MySpace starlet Lily Allen came to fame via the Internet, so of course it's fitting her debut fashion collection will have a cyber start. The British High Street retailer New Look launched a web site spotlighting Allen's inspirations for the line, which launches May 9. Lily is steering clear of the super slick look used by her celebrity rival Kate Moss, who's Topshop line will launch May 1, 2007. Lily, instead is opting for a more girlish approach. Sketches of dresses are pasted alongside a pink, padlocked journal, titled "Lily's Diary," which is adorned with hearts and skull and crossbones. Ms. Allen's pieces include a strapless ruffled chiffon dress, red ruffled prom dress in floral prints, and a floor-length sundress with Allen's song titles embroidered onto it. The collection, which will launch in New Look stores in the U.K., France, Dubai and Kuwait and other markets. It will retail from $24 for sneakers to $110 for a chiffon dress. Allen is also set to host a party May 8 at New Look's Oxford Street flagship to launch the line. Another Rock Star hits the fashion scene.

Fashion Is Seeing Red At New Yorks Fashion Week

Fashion week is supposed to be about tailoring and texture, hemlines and heels. But this week, all eyes will be on pronounced rib cages, protruding hip bones and hollow-eyed faces. After years of controversy about unhealthy models, New York City - America's fashion capital - is being put on notice. "People point fingers at the people who are walking the runways,” said Glamour Magazine’s Deputy Editor of Health, Wendy Naugle. “They say, ‘oh she's too skinny, they need to be heavier.’ The Council of Fashion Designers of America released new guidelines just weeks before February's fashion week in Bryant Park. The new guidelines include keeping models under 16 off the runway, educating the fashion industry about the dangers of eating disorders, providing healthy meals and snacks backstage at fashion shows, and requiring models with eating disorders to seek professional help.
The first show on the catwalks at Bryant Park was the Heart Truth show, an annual event in which celebrities wear red dresses. Heart Truth is part of the Red Dress project, a federal initiative lead by first lady Laura Bush, to raise awareness about heart disease. The Heart Truth show was attended by Laura Bush, who wore a red Bill Blass skirt suit. She was accompanied by Blass designer Carolina Herrera and Michael Vollbracht. Actress Angela Bassett strutted the runway wearing a dress by designer Carmen Marc Valvo.

After the Heart Truth show came the first real preview of the fall styles that attracts editors, retail buyers and stylists to Fashion Week. Shows continue through Feb. 9, with designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs and Vera Wang on the schedule.

Fashion In 2007

If you went a little crazy this holiday season, no need to fear. In 2007, a cropped jacket with a billowing tunic underneath, which hides your stomach, and straight-legged pants mixed with great headband, hides a multitude of sins. It's the ultimate flattering look. Think layering for an updated and seriously stylish look.

Theory V Neck Sweater in Black
Thank goodness the high-rise pant is back! No more, do you see my g-string, plumber peeping butts! The wide-legged pants is all the rage in 2007 and they're high-waisted. In 2007 the emphasis is on the waist instead of the hip bone, and these pants actually make you look slimmer by emphasizing the smallest part of your midsection, your waste, as opposed to your hips. WARNING -This is not a look for everyone; you don't want to go for this look if you're short-waisted, but it's fantastic for women with long or normal torsos, because if your torso is too small, the pants threaten to overwhelm your upper body. Mix it with a short jacket and one key accessory. It is a great work looks for 2007 and the perfect everyday look in which you appear completely pulled-together. That's what will finish off your look for this season. Textured Jacket in Silver

Skinny jeans are still in and still happening. It is a perfect weekend look. The big bag is a must, not only will everything fit in it. The larger bag will make your thighs look smaller when worn with straight jeans— that's the best part about the big bag!

12 Inch Pencil Jean Leg in Charcoal

The trench coat is pretty and feminine for 2007. Paired with a billowy scarf and the perfect platform shoe with patent detail, it's effortlessly chic. Belted it with a belt and pair it with platform shoes. That's what makes it look modern right now, and it's that easy. And by the way, in 2007 Platforms are not going away, they're getting higher.

Add one extra accessory in 2007, such as a great belt or huge pair of earrings, something unexpected. That's what will finish off your look for this season.
